I lived in Paradise during this incident. The problem wasn't the Police it was the response time of the paramedics and firefighters. The Officers have very limited medical services that they can render. It's a sad situation all around. But let's not try to always take it out on the police.

12/31/22..... There were a LOT of heroes during that fire. The survivors will NEVER FORGET. EVERYONE from the B-line bus company came in to help. People came into that fire more than once...came BACK after escaping...to rescue people. I was one of them. THANK YOU STEVE

Every law entity in butte county for some reason has law enforcement involved shootings that are after years coming to light and aren't seen as a justified shooting. Personally most of you that have commented on this have your heads up the laws associated so far you can't see that these officers are shooting all willy nilly and not in control of their own fingers. A man with his back toward you isn't much of a threat and should be prompted to drop or lower his weapon. I do understand the fear involved but that is why these men were trained to be peace officers not trigger happy thugs.

This was my front yard and my family and i were asleep 50ft from this. I'm confused on why regardless of Jeremy having a gun or not every officer fired their weapons into Jeremy's back without trying to get him to drop his gun? It seems these so called officers of law are just way to quick to unload their clips. Every bullet went into his back paralyzing him. If his back was toward all of the officers which all shots that were fired hit the suspect in the back. I see little threat regardless of a gun when the suspects back is to you. In my opinion every one involved with this counties evil and corrupt "law" system is nothing more than a gang or cult member that has no interest in following protocol of a true peace officer.
